Low progesterone?

Hi I'm a bit concerned that I may have low progesterone. In Taking Charge of Your Fertility it suggests you may have low progestoerone if you luteal phase temps drop bellow the coverline. I found this last cycle and it was a problem when I was CTA.

I've got two questions:

1. Am I drawing the coverline in the right place? TCoYF says 1 tenth above the highest of the last six temps. However it doesn't say if this is differnt for clesius which I chart in. 1 tenth above if who lines above for celsius and one for farenhight.

2. An natural (herbs, vitamins, foods, therpies etc) methods I can use to boost my progesterone.

I would have to see your chart to tell... Is it happening every cycle? Is it happening at the end of your cycles (just before your period begins)? Are your temperatures erratic, even though you temp at the same time every day? Are your cycles fairly "normal" or predictable cycle-to-cycle? Does your CM change appropriately throughout your cycle? Okay... enough with the questions, huh... Not that I'm looking for answers , just questions that could effect my answer to your question.... So, if it was just this one cycle, and you got a temp spike, and then temps back by pre-O temps, that'd be one example of an anovulatory cycle (my doc explained this one to me, although I did manage a "technical" cover-line - and the doc proved it by drawing my 7dpo progesterone - a 0.3! no O). The other suggestion I would make is if your temps are erratic - sounds icky, but my charts are SO MUCH MORE CLEAR, now that I'm temping vaginally instead of orally.

Hope that helps... If ANY of that makes sense....

I temp on paper hence my wondering about whether I'm drawing the coverline in the right place.

I've only done one pregancy cycle and this last year I haven't charted much. However before that I had trobule CTA avoid because my temps were always slipping back bellow the coverline eg. 2 just above, one on it, one just above, one just below, one above, one on etc. So it doesn't seem to be at the end of my cycle as when I was CTA I wouldn't have ususally kept doing my temp after 3 over the coverline. My temps are not too eratic but I do occassiionaly get the odd werid one with nothing happeing. If I'm so much as 30mins of temping time it affects it. It's not like my temps go back to pre O temps, you can clearly see their higher but not necessairly all over the coverline. CM: 5-7 days period (often two days of that spotting). 1, 2 or 0 days nothing or sticky or creamy CM, 2 or 3 days eggwhite pre temp rise. I don't usally bother to check much post O. I temp oraly.

Any of this any help?
