Alternative Baby Clothes Storage Ideas

Hi, I'm in a tiny one bedroom city apartment with only one very small closet and no room for more furniture (The only exception is our plan to squeeze a small co-sleeper style mini-crib between our bed and the wall). Any suggestions for organizing/storing baby clothes?
Thanks

We have some nice small wooden wine crates on top of our dresser for storing baby clothes. (I don't drink wine, I just called a few wine stores until I found one that had extra crates they were willing to get rid of.)

Can you clear out space in your own dresser? My sister did this when she also lived in a teensy little apartment. She put away some of her own clothing in those plastic bags that you vacuum shut so they shrink down flat and made room for her daughter's stuff that way.

I kept onesies, pants, and shirts folded in little boxes from the dollar store on a bookcase for the longest time.

If you don't have a bookcase with enough space right now, you may be able to (depending on your landlord/lease) hang some shelves for that. You also could mount a few curtain rods from the wall or ceiling and create a makeshift closet for hanging clothes.

These sorts of hanging things are really awesome. They have slightly different shaped ones as well and I sometimes just hang them from a hook in the ceiling if I can get one into a stud.

we have this:

and it is awesome. Got it off freecycle 3 years ago and it is still going strong. It holds all of DD's stuffed animals now. Seriously you can fit a ton of stuff into it and it has a very small footprint and is on wheels so it can easily be wheeled/shoved out of the way.

i actually have this vintage wooden pepsi crate with small compartments that held bottles. i didn;t know what to do with it so i just rolled onesies and shirts up and stuck one in each compartment. the wine crate suggestion made me think yo could do it with a smaller wine rack as well.
it's really easy to see what there is and you don;t have to worry about feeling like a putz folding up tiny clothes.

I store most of my baby's clothes in something similar to this, but it is the round one, mesh, with holes in it. It holds *a lot* of stuff and you can hang it from almost anything.

Oh, here it is:

We use the same closet organizers that have already been posted. A small box on each shelf turns it into a very easy dresser.

Is there a way to access the space under your co-sleeper? Could you organize the baby clothes into small boxes (one for short sleeves, one for pants, etc) and place those boxes into a large box or wooden crate that you could slide under the co-sleeper? Then you'd be using only the space you already have set aside for baby furniture.

Could you mount a shelf in the corner over the co-sleeper? Like a stuffed animal net. Then you could use those pop-out canvas drawers and everything would still look nice.

Underbed storage is great - take advantage of whatever space you have down there and put some of your out of season clothes under the bed (or less frequently worn clothes) and this will help make some room for baby.

closet organizers are great, too!

Thanks for the suggestions. Our tiny closet is stuffed already just with jackets and dress shirts for work (it's only 18" wide). Under the bed is also already packed tight with out of season clothing. There is zero floor space left for more furniture but I do have a small bookshelf full of books I've already read and can donate. I like the idea of the pop out boxes to organize the items on the shelves to keep it tidy looking. I haven't found a co-sleeper crib yet, but I'll look for one with storage space underneath-or at least an open space underneath that I can place some boxes.
