Lists! - Page 4

Nice! Maybe I should order our carseat ASAP... I should go look at their price-matching offer... I was just happy with the 10% off it would be the same as on amazon, b/c with the free shipping both ways, it was where I wanted to order. But if I can get them to price match, too, that will cut down on the 10% amount but still be even cheaper!

Updated my list. I have so much to buy/do and almost nothing accomplished. Such a slacker! I am about 2/3 way done with one pair of longies, though.

after months of feeling totally unmotivated at knitting im finally in the groove again. i knit a hat 2 days ago and its already washed and blocked and waiting for baby! and im about 1/2 way through a knit sleep sack (which is too freaking cute for words) im so in love! i think everything i knit from now on with have little owlie cables at least its inspiration, right?
im thinking longies to match the hat with the same cable pattern on the legs..maybe socks as well? oh and a vest..

Has anyone with those OXO lights noticed they hum? I was going to order them, but saw that in a review and know any noise will drive me bonkers.

Kitty-mine never made any noise, and that would drive me crazy too. Can u post a link to the exact ones you're looking at ? I had the set made up of the bright pink/orange silly looking kid ones.

Updating my list right now. We finally got the rest of dh's pitifully small summer pay and are buying as much as we can before we give the rest to the midwife. We are going to a concert next week that we bought tickets for in spring and we really don't have money to go, but can't waste that $233 now without hotel/gas/food. I'm not happy about that. That was my La Bassine and hammock money.

Mine don't hum. I have the orange/purple ones.
Kitty, I had the same ones you posted the link to but in orange/pink and they never hummed either.

I suppose there would be more reviews mentioning this if it was a common problem?

Regardless, I will make sure wherever Im ordering mine from has a good return policy juuuust in case. Im also wondering about the single yellow light...it must be somewhat new, I havent seen it before. It says base glows also while the light is out of it-i wonder if this would be a big plus since then you could see in the dark where to place the light back into (should you want to place it back, rather than just turn it off and leave it wherever, which is totally fine).

Another question-are they bright enough to read with? I read every night, even with a newborn and need something dimmer than my current light. My old one died and this was gifted. It's like a spotlight.

Kitty, its been awhile since I had them last, but from what I can recall they are not bright enough to read with. They emit light, but the light does not go very far..does that make sense?

there is a $10 off with no minimum purchase deal if you go to ebates and then type in allergysuperstore, look for the link where it states $10 off with no minimum purchase.

i just used it to get some california baby sunscreen i needed, and their shipping is only 3.99

plus supposed to get cashback with ebates, dont know how that works yet as i just signed up for it right now. should be fun though!

That makes sense, thanks!

Anyone have a recommendation for a slightly brighter light? Good enough to read with and use for diaper changes without waking the house up? Preferably plug in or rechargeable?

Awesome!

Yesterday I ordered the velour for doublers and wipes, yarn for baby hats and longies, birth kit stuff...and I think that's it? Still have some more money to spend while we have this bonus and before I pay off mw and cc.

Off to sort and wash baby things! I can't even remember what I have...

It is practically impossible to get gender neutral newborn clothes on Ebay. I guess this means I have to drag my butt off to the thriftstores. Sigh...
