Reaction to vicoden, help please!

I had a c/section on the 11th and was given vicoden for pain. Yesterday, I developed a rash ALL OVER my body and it itches horribly. DH thinks it might be due to the vicoden since he reacted like that after knee surgery. I am fine not taking it anymore but I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get it out of my system faster. I am nursing so I need it to be safe for baby. I am drinking lots of water. Is there anything else I can do while nursing? Any suggestions for the itching? (Oh and can I just say that even my nipples itch which is awful.)

I also had a c/s (with lots of complications) They did not give me vicodin, but rather percocet. lNow, I'm not an MD, so I'm taking my OB's word for it, but they told me that the percocet molecules were big enough that they really didn't get into the breast mill. Maybe they could switch you to that medication? I'm sorry about the itching. I don't know of anything that would help that! Hope you feel better
