Shower tiles

Theres orange something in the grout in between the tiles in our shower, and the caulk around the tub is getting orange too, and theres some black and grey. What is it, how do I get rid of it, and how do I keep it from coming back? I tried baking soda, and I'm thinking about spraying some vinegar to let soak, in the hopes that it will come off. Anything else that works?

Same thing is happening on the caulk in our tub, my regular bathroom cleaner doesn't work on it...very curious to know how to get rid of it!

I've had good luck with 7th Generation's tub cleaner, or I would try hydrogen peroxide, for the grout.

I've generally found that once the icky stuff gets in/around the caulk, you have to remove it completely, clean really, really well, and replace it (with nasty mildew-resistant stuff). Do make sure that you don't have a leak somewhere causing the issue. Make absolutely sure that you get the right kind of bathroom caulk, not stuff for say, windows, or you'll have wasted a lot of effort.

Using a squeegee to wipe down the walls of the shower (or a special towel, or whatever, and ventilating with a fan or window to really get things dry will make a huge difference in the future.
