We started our History Odyssey co-op today and had an absolute blast!!! I loved that we got to experience this small group synergy and shared so many interesting comments. I just love the way kids' brains work. "Since nomads didn't brush theirn teeth, did their teeth just fall out while they were walking? No one wore underwear?!?!"
We're going to start with a weekly history co-op and run that for a few weeks and then add science. We haven't decided on REAL Science yet or Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding. But we've got a few weeks yet...
We're a secular group of 4 kids (sometimes 6 kids) and our ages range from 5-7. Opinions on either?
And then once we get that under control, we're going to add a weekly Artistic Pursuits co-op.
So by September, we should be fully ramped into it.
