41 Weeks & toddler is sick! HELP!

Oh man! DD woke up last night and puked all over DH, then today she seemed better like it was a fluke thing, but a little while ago she had two rounds of diarrhea and then puked all over me. She was really sick in between the diarrhea and the puking--just wanted to be held and laid on the couch, but after she puked, like last night, she was doing way better and is being all silly now. Neither DH or I are showing symptoms yet. Is there anything beyond good hygiene I could do to make sure that I don't get this? I really don't want to be sick in labor or end with a sick newborn. I took a shower immediately after she vomited on me and just ate a raw garlic clove for the immune system boost.

I had the same thing happen the few days prior to my baby arriving. I just vinegared everything clean and kept fluids flowing. My DH was sick the day before too. Everyone said it never fails that sick family members = soon arrival of new baby. Good luck momma!

My dh and ds are sick as well! They just have coughs and runny noses, but still no fun.

I really don't think there's much that can be done about it. Just keep things clean and have everyone wash their hands frequently. I really doubt that our bodies would let us go into labor while sick. Nature knows how to work these things out!
