homes for rent in minnesota

am i crazy or does the rent seem really high in the areas i am looking?

i am wanting a pet friendly home in the St paul area. grand, summit, highland park, macgrove and the good areas of como park. i am also looking at the subs, but wow even apts (1 bed, 1 bath or studio) are in the 800-1000 range! that is so much more then were i am now!

i have applied for jobs in the area so maybe i will not think its so much after i see what my pay will be?

any advice?

For the areas that you listed those prices seem to be on the low side.
Yes, even for a studio! Those are very nice neighborhoods of St. Paul!

There are several universities in the area, I would try their websites to see if they have listings for off-campus apartments/houses for students. Usually you don't need a student login to view the listings, since most new students look for housing before they get their student id set up. Then you have the fun of screening out the bad places....
