rooftop gardens

Anyone have experience growing on their roofs? Looking for suggestions and ideas of making the roof actual bed(s) rather than doing container gardening.

Weight of the growing medium, the slope, and just how deep of soil should I be thinking about....

I think a rooftop garden is a great idea, but I have no clue about doing one. I did do a search and found this great website.
