What's your one year old's favorite toy?

I'm trying to pick a birthday present for my soon to be one year old little guy. He doesn't have a lot of his own toys, mostly he plays with just 'stuff' and whatever the older kids leave lying around. I'd like to get him something all of his own, something he'd really like.

What are your one year olds loving these days?

These are plastic, but they are far and away my babe's favorite toy, and my older one loved them when she was that age too.

In the natural wood category, she likes this wheeled Haba duck with a cord that she drags around behind her, but she had to be wakling pretty well before she got into that.

DS's favorite item was a little riding car (not sure what else to call it) with Nemo characters on it. Yes, it made noises. I bought it for his first birthday, and he continued to play with it for a couple of years.

When DD was 1 she also loved her plastic stacking cups. Actually they were a favourite from 5 mths to about 18 mths.

She also liked a big truck that we got at a garage sale that she could walk behind (she wasn't walking independently at that point).
