Strange pain, almost like a side stitch

This has happened to me twice now. I feel a pain in my left side that hurts when I inhale or move to much. It takes a while to dissipate. I had it last night and decided just to inhale as quickly as I could all at once and it seemed like something popped. I don't know if it was my imagination! Anyway, it did feel like a gas bubble or something, but in my left side?? How is that even possible? Have you experienced this?

is it RLP? (or do you get RLP and know this is not it?)

Ive heard of some women getting it more like that than what I get... I get it as more of a charlie horse down the side of my abdomen

I know what you're talking about. It does feel like a weird bubble/stitch in the ribs. If it went on any longer than it typically has, I might be concerned, but I just chalk it up to some weird diaphragm spasm sort of thing. Otherwise I'd be worrying about a freakin' pulmonary embolism or a pneumothorax the way it feels! OUCH!

Many women in my prenatal yoga class have complained of that same thing. I also remember having it with ds if i did too much physical exercise.

Thanks for the responses. It seems like it always happens when I'm somewhere I can't just burp or pass gas at leisure, lol. I guess I just need to get it all out at home before I go out in public

Round Ligament Pains (and if you dont get them, I hope you continue not to! It is NOT fun! I scream out in pain when I get them and DH will come running from ANYWHERE in this house thinking I am in labor or got attacked or broke a bone or something lol

I had that pain when I was pregnant. Went away after a couple of weeks of having it off and on.

OH, thanks MaerynPearl. I actually do a get a bit of RLP, but it's lower than this rib pain. Mine has never been too bad, thank goodness. I'm sorry about yours, though!
