Ds and I have been doing EC for a little over a month..I think. Anyway he signals to me that he needs to poop or pee by fussing or grunting (I accidentally taught grunting as a poop noise.)

So were doing ok, except now I noticed every time he poops he cry's The stool doesn't seem overly big or dry or anything. and as soon as he's done he stops crying and looks happy again. Is this just the way he taught himself to bear down?

Also, how often should I take him to the bathroom? I miss a few pees throughout the day and wasn't sure of the frequency, We only missed two poops since we started, one was Dh (who refused to EC) and the other was when I had a cold and was out of it, though I don't know how I missed it)

And one more...How did you get them to pee in a smaller potty? So far he just doesn't seem to make a connection. I'm pregnant and our bathroom is upstairs and downstairs (none on the main floor) I'm fine for now, but I know as I get bigger its not not going to work.
