We use Dr.Bronner's super diluted, though I didn't now they had been bought by clorox, we'll probably switch to California baby. But we really mostly use just water.

FIL always makes me a little uncomfortable because he always says how much he loves the baby smell and especially the baby's breath. and I'm always like (inside) That's my boob milk buddy.

Burt's Bees was bought by Clorox-not Dr. Bronner's.

Wait - I thought Burt's Bees was owned by Clorox. Isn't Dr. Bronner's still run by the Bronner family?

We also just use water (although if there's a poosplosion I will use a bit of Dr. Bronner's baby when I'm rinsing his butt under the faucet. ) - whether or not something is "natural", I think that scents can be really sensitizing and I try to avoid them for baby skin.

HAH! Too funny!

And we don't do BB anymore because of fragrance and PCBs in the bottles, either.

The smell of Burt's Bees baby soap and lotion irritates my nose/throat. I got some as a gift, and I can't use it. I was just looking at the buttermilk lotion ingredients- there's more fragrance than buttermilk in it!
We do sometimes use their regular bar soaps and Mama Bee oil, though.
AFAIK, it's just the baby stuff that's so heavily scented, which makes no sense.

When I use soap on her, it's usually Dr. Bronners.
Oils aren't needed much, especially in the summer, but when they are, I usually use grapeseed oil.

Just plain water, coconut oil, and olive oil here. With a tiny amount of the baby mild Dr. Bronner's occasionally on her bottom. Her hair is so soft and shiny and she's never had a shampoo.

At 10 mos, my guy has never had anything but water in his shower. I use CO for rash/dry skin and tapioca starch for rash. Nothing more complex has been necessary.

We use California Baby unscented

Water.

I like having vitamin E oil for rashes or dry skin.

I use cornstarch for powder if needed.
