Is this possible? I recently started having problems with my eyes that I am attributing to unsafe ingredients in my eye make up. Grrr. So now I've thrown everything out and want to use safe stuff. I look at the cosmetics safety database and I look at these companies websites, but I'm lost! I need someone to help me pick out colors and show me how to use them. Does Mary Kay carry safe products? Is there anywhere I can go for a makeover???

Makeover with SAFE cosmetics???

What kind of make up were you using before? and how long have you had it? If you had been using it for a while and then suddenly started having eye problems it could be that your make up went bad. If you are looking for makeup with less chemicals there is always mineral makeup and there are SO many companies out there. I personally have been using Meow Cosmetics for the past year or so, and I like them. You could also check out Tarte Cosemetics, which has some chemicals, but still much safer and greener than most cosmetic brands out there. I use their cheek stain, which I love especially for summer time. You might be able to go to a Sephora store (if there is one where you live) and ask them to do a makeover using only Tarte products. As for Meow, you can go to their chat forum and get some color help from the ladies over there. Good luck!
