This is AWESOME!!! I know that the wording of the "immediately available" emergency team will remain an issue for small hospitals, but this is much faster than I thought it would be for a new statement. GOOD! The irony of the timing after all of the fighting I went through...too funny...not that anything would have changed in time...and I still ended up with my small town, all natural, speedy hospital VBAC! I have a restored faith in humanity! Let's hope that the wording continues to change!!!!!!!!

I'm really happy about this. I don't think we'll see drastic change overnight but it gives VBAC hopeful mamas another tool in their arsenal to fight for the right to have a vaginal birth.
