Teething Tablets?

Anyone have any experience with Hyland's Homeopathic Teething tablets?

My DS is working on his 3rd tooth and until today, I have not given him a thing. However, today he has been crying and/or whining for about 7 hours straight and he hasn't really slept the past 2 nights. He wouldn't take a nap either. I do not want to give him oragel, so I finally gave in and gave him 2 of the homeopathic tablets. Within 5 minutes he was out cold...the dog even started barking right next to him and he hasn't budged.

If anyone can give me opinions about them I would really appreciate it!

BTW: Ingredient chart is Calcarea Phosphorica, Chamommilla, Coffea Cruda, Belladonna

I have used them with both my daughters when they are teething. As far as I know, the only ingredient that can be toxic is the belladona if consumed in excessive amounts. With that said, my oldest DD took a bottle from my diaper bag and took them all so I freaked out and called poison control, and they didnt seemed concerned, just to keep an eye on her. She had no reaction at all. Thank God!
I think they work good to help them get some relief at night so they can rest better. Hope your little man has a good night!!

Cecilia is 3.5 months and showing all the signs of teething, including me being able to feel and see a tooth just below the surface. I tried the tabs the other day when she was inconsolable and she went to sleep very easily too. I'm a big fan of homeopathic remedies, and I don't feel badly about giving Cecilia tabs in moderation.

If they work for you run with it....

We've used them periodically. If DD (5 months) hasn't slept in a while, they definitely put her to sleep (or rather, give her the relief she needs to sleep). I've given them to her when she's obviously in pain, but not too sleepy, and she just chills out a little but doesn't fall asleep.

We have them and have used them a few times.
Worked well as far as I could tell. No sleeping, but they helped her to calm down a bit, so I figure they did releive her pain.

My kid was allergic to them. IDK why, but she got a rash every time I gave them to her.

We still use them with my almost 2.5 year old. I prefer them to giving tylenol or motrin for teething discomfort.

We them here, been using them for close to 10 years with 5 different kiddos.

The sleepiness is totally normal because it helps them calm down and rest easier.

If they work for your LO, go for it. I know they do nothing for my guy, so we had to advance to something stronger (ibuprofen).

We love them here also, DS is 8 months old; I give them rarely - because I rarely have a need to - but when I do, they do seem to help calm him down, and cool him off if he seems a bit warm (not like feverish, just hot from being upset) Often he does go to sleep after.
