First, congratulations on your weight loss! I'm happy you've made such great progress.

I tend to self-sabotage as well. Something I've started to do when I'm facing the temptation to do something really wrong food-wise is to say to myself, "This is the addiction talking. My addiction wants me to (fill in the blanks)." That's often enough to snap me out of it. Yesterday at the grocery store I *really* wanted to buy some Pringles but they're one of my trigger foods. I was able to just walk by after making myself acknowledge that the part of me that wants to be healthy didn't really want them, only the part of me that wants food for the wrong reasons. When that's not enough, I just go ahead and binge but when you're aware of your binging, it seems to be less intense so it ends sooner and w/ less damage.

If you haven't read any of Geneen Roth's books, I highly suggest you do so. She's fabulous and has a new book our right now that I've heard great things about.
