It's July! And that means we have good, cheap blueberries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, cherries, fresh kale from csa, and it's all so good.
And it's all so fibrous. My kids stools are, um, mush. They're digesting their foods so fast, that I'm sure they're not extracting all they should.
How to slow down the fiber? Smear the blueberries with butter?
We often have berries stirred into whole plain yogurt. I think I might need to get some cream to pour over the berries. Anything else I can try?
Thanks!
