2.5 yo sleeping on floor while on vacation?

Would a 2.5 yo get sore from sleeping on a hardwood floor for a week if we folded up a comforter for her or should we get her an air mattress?

My 3 bros, sis in laws, mom, aunt, us & all the kids got a beach house for a week in august. The kids (except babies of course) will all be sleeping on the floor. I know dd1 will end up in our bed with us in the middle of the night (she starts out in her own room/bed at home, but come to ours in the night 4-5 nights/week), but I want to have something set up for her to start out on & in case she is so wiped out from the beach all day, she sleeps on her own all night. Our DD also moves ALOT during the night so if I did an air mattress, I would feel safer getting one that she can't roll off but they are a little expensive:

or
http://www.walmart.com/ip/AeroBed-for-Kids/7856665 (i hate walmart but they do have this the cheapest i could find )

I know I would be sore & have a backache sleeping on blankets on a hardwood floor for a week...but is that just because I'm old It wouldn't be the worse thing for us to have an air mattress since the one we had is busted but does she need it?

I don't think she'd need it. I know that I would, but kids are weird. My kids love sleeping on the floor, doesn't matter if there is carpet or not.

A small foam matress should be enough. Coushins fromthe couch or a lawn chair also work. A yoga mat. I think she'll be fine though.

Yup. Cushions from the couch or lawn chair are a great idea.

ETA -I also wrote a sentence suggesting a yoga mat, after not-to-carefully skimming Bellabaz's post.

Thx folks!! The couches there don't actually have cushions-the seats are all one piece leather (i've stayed in this house before with friends). Plus, when the kids are asleep, the grown ups might want to be in the living room hanging out.

But I do have a thin yoga mat...and then we could fold up a comforter to put on top of it...and then a sleeping bag. I am going to try that set up on our wood floors & see what she/we think.

I see no problem with it, I slept in a sleeping bag on the hardwood floor of my parents' room almost nightly from about age 2-8 (I was terrified of sleeping away from them) and never got sore. She'll probably think it's fun

when we are watching tv I nurse my son on a folded up comforter on the floor. It's not bad.
