oh, so THAT'S what that was all about!

for the last few days, my just 5 month old had been driving me crazy... kicking, flailing and screeching while nursing, popping on and off ferociously (ouch!). she wanted to nurse constantly, wanted to switch sides constantly, was waking more frequently at night to nurse...

i was just about to write a frantic post about it, when this morning i woke up at 5am with a drenched shirt and rock hard breasts, woke up the baby, and had our first peaceful, undisturbed and loooong nursing in ages (seems like!). no kicking, no nipple abuse, just lots of milk.

i just wish there was a gentler way for her to tell my boobs, "hey, hellooo! you need to make me more milk!"

Yay! I'm glad things seem to be better. Those growth spurts are tricky for breasts to anticipate.

Hmm....I guess thats whats going on with DD too then. Lots of kicking, flailin and popping on and off. Maybe I'll pump a bunch to increase supply. My nipples are sooo sore from the popping on and off.

Oh wow, I'm glad you 2 figured it out!
I sometimes still have oversupply and it causes DD to act the same way.
