Peaches?

Peaches are one of my all time favorite fruits. A really juicy sweet peach is hard to beat. Well peach pie maybe or peach cobbler.

So, hubby and the ILs took the kids last weekend to pick peaches. Those peaches are now gone (eaten and made into a cobbler). Yesterday I bought a 1/2 peck of peaches. Well minus the one I just ate.

They are ready to go. But what? Spam me your peach ideas please!

Its tasty. We are freezing instead of canning.

Our menu includes this peach, prosciutto and goat cheese pizza

We got more peaches on Saturday. Then Yesterday my MIL gave us just over 1/2 peck of peaches. I have peaches everywhere! Not to mention the 8 pounds of strawberries we got on Saturday at Soulard (along with avacados, green beans, cantalope, corn and of course the peaches).

MMMM peach ice cream. Gotta find my cuisnart ice crea inserts and got those things frozen.

I found I had this recipe as well in my stash. This is a great website if you like paninis.

Yepper. That would be the place. We went down to the Lego thing on Saturday afternoon. Oh.my.word! It was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to hot. I left my husband with our son over at the park and took the two girls in to see what we could find. I ended up having to get Gabrielle out of the stroller because it was overflowing with fruit and veggies. I bought 8 pounds of strawberries for $5. Then we went back in and bought two pounds of Rainier Cherries. Which sadly disappeared in less than 24 hours in our house.

I like to make them almost overripe then freeze into small chunks and eat them as dessert once they are a bit thawed. Just had three servings of that last night. Our peach place has canning peaches that I buy at a discount, a few are eaten within the hour, then the rest up are cut up and frozen.
