Anybody make this? I'll be using the BED starter, but am having a very hard time with the coconuts. I know that out west, there is frozen coconut water available, but am not sure if there's something available around here or by mail.

Our local whole foods does carry young coconuts, but they never seem to be great quality, and I think I would need to purchase a case of them if I really want to get into making kefir with them. I do know they are usually available at other specialty stores like Asian markets and such, but I can't make a separate trip to a store just for the coconuts.

Anybody know of a cost-effective way to get lots of coconut water? Can you order a case online? Have you used the packaged, boxed coconut water to make kefir? I tried, but I don't think it worked - I let it sit for 48 hours and it was still sweet, although the color had changed to the cloudy white it was supposed to be - but no fizz at all and definitely still sweet, which it is not supposed to be.

I really want this to work and am getting so frustrated. I think it will be a good option for my dd who is having some issues and has such a limited diet.

Thanks for any help or input!!
