When is OK to intro dairy to ds- reacted to it as infant...

Couldnt condense my thought down any further for a title, sorry! My ds will be 1 next week and I'm anxious to get dairy back into my life -- and wondering when I can get dairy into his?

He reacted to dairy in my diet as an infant- gas, green watery poo, fussiness & diaper rash. I went off dairy and want my cheese back lol! When is it OK to start testing the waters again? and what is the safest thing I can start with that would be easy on him? He eats alot (!!) of table food but also nurses quite a bit too.

TIA!!!!

Grass fed ghee would probably be the safest bet to start w/. Ds tolerates it fine but is not ok w/ other dairy.

Most folks introing dairy might move onto raw milk kefir, or 24 hour fermented yogurt. Many would start w/ goat's milk instead of cow's milk as well. (And there is a difference between various types of cow's milk too, I think A1 and A2? but I don't know a lot about it.)

I would ask this in the allergies forum, you'll probably get really helpful advice there too! Good luck!
