I just got my lab results and found out my total cholesterol is 163! Woo hoo!
It's especially good news as I have quite a bit of weight to lose and I have PCOS. It came down about 30-35 points from eating oatmeal daily and eating more fruits and vegetables since April. My HDL is 37, and my doctor's office said it needs to be at least 40. Do you know of ways to raise it? What foods can help?
