High D-Dimer, Low Protein S... Anyone Else??

My OB/MW practice ordered a collection of tests because my little sister had a blood clot when she was just 19 years old. They were worried about my blood being "sticky" as well.

I got the results back and I wanted to see if anyone else has ever had these tests and had similar results. Did you still get a vaginal delivery?? Any info would be super helpful! I was trying for a VBAC, but I feel like Im going to get trapped into another excruciating c-section the second time around.

Here are my results:
D-Dimer, QN is High at .54 mcg/mL FEU (reference range: <.50mcg/mL FEU)
Protein S Activity is Low at 45% normal (reference range: 70-150% normal)

My results also showed I was anemic. And Protein C Activity was right in the middle of the normal range.

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows anything about this situation!!!

I'm not sure about those tests but I do have Factor V and Factor II, which increase my clotting potential, and I had two perfectly normal pregnancies/vaginal births without any blood thinners. There is a thread in Health and Healing for women with blood clotting disorders.
