I think I'm dealing with a clogged milk duct, but I can't be sure. I'm having considerable pain in my left breast, and yesterday I had a low-grade fever. The fever is gone as of this morning, but the pain remains.
I've been making sure that the breast is drained (I begin each feeding with this breast and pump), and I wonder if there's anything else I should be doing? And what to do if the fever returns?
I really appreciate any input. I'm wary of calling my physician and starting an antibiotic regimen.
