Cochlear Implants and Prevnar

Does anyone here have information regarding additional Prevnar doses for Cochlear Implant children? I have been told that additional doses are required before a child can receive a CI.

I'm researching now, but wanted to post this here too.

I'm curious what you gals think about this. I'm going to dig into the research deeper, of course (like, how much more likely are these kids really for contracting meningitis? 50% more likely, which still translates to only a 2% risk? I totally made those numbers up, that's what I'm going to try to determine)
