I just heard that Daniel Schorr died. :(

One of my favorite commentators. I will miss his common sense views and his wisdom.

Oh, that is sad. But the man was 93 and had a long, very full life, right up to the end.

My dh just told me about this. I still remember his first official comment after 9/11. He was nearly speechless and fumbling with shock and anger.

He'll be missed.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked when I heard it announced on NPR the other day... I had no idea he was so old!! He will be missed.

This is how I felt, especially reading his obituaries and learning about his extremely interesting life. I am sad for those he left behind, but it would be hard to find a life better lived, and that's pretty amazing!
