Saggy Belly

Hi

I have had two children and need to get off about a stone but am OK about this but what really gets me is my saggy tummy. I was pretty big for my height with both pregnancies and have a horrible saggy tummy. I also had sections both times which I dont think helped.

Can anyone suggest any exercises to help get this area sorted please?

Thanks

What's a stone in poundage, elvina, I forget.

Dunno if this will help or not as the trainer at the gym just showed it to me, but it seemed to work the lower abs.

Lay on your back, cross legs at the ankles, and push up to the ceiling with them. It has the sort of feel and effect of a lower body crunch. I could never do the kind where you raised and lowered your legs because of bad low back, but these didn't hurt me and I felt them in the low abdomen.

That said, I have a huge saggy pannus that is a lovely reminder of my own two sections. Doc told me once I'd never be able to get rid of it completely. Not sure if that's because I'm so heavy or just because he thought you couldn't. Actually I am pretty sure he is right because I just have so much extra flesh there I can't see it tightening up without some surgical help. :

I have that saggy belly too and I didn't have a c-sec so I think it's just a normal stretched-that-belly-too-far thing. It has tightened up a bit since I've been doing a lot of ab work (although it came back when I slacked off my workouts for a while ).
I do wonder now though, should I not have scoffed at all those moisturizers aimed at pregnant ladies claiming to help avoid stretch marks? If there's a next time maybe I'll try them out.
