Moving to St. Petersburg, Florida the end of July

Hi ladies! I currently live in Clearwater but I am moving to St. Pete on July 31st. My son has autism and will be going Sawgrass Lake Elementary for their autism kindergarten program. I will be living just off 34th in the Lealman area. I was looking for other moms who are in the area to perhaps have playdates, girl night, etc.

I'm also looking for a nonvax friendly pediatrician or family practice doctor and some general fun spots to hang out with the kiddo. I'm not familiar with St. Pete at all though I've lived in Clearwater and the Pasco county area for 10 years. Thanks!

I'm over in Lakeland, but thought you'd like to know about this:

It's in St Pete in October.
It's the La Leche League of Florida state conference. But, it's grown a great deal and has much to offer for all ages - not just nurslings.
I think registration opens Aug 2nd and all the details will be posted at that time.

AllStar Pediactrics (Dr Kargas) never gives us trouble about my daughters delayed or missed vax. He tells you what he thinks, then you make the decision. I really like him alot.
