bruise after kenalog injection

I had an injection this morning to try to tame a really out of control eczema episode. It hurt. (I think the nurse did a poor job, but that's another issue altogether.)

It still hurts, 5 hours later, so I looked, and there is a rather large bruise about 2 inches away from the injection site. I called the office to ask the nurse if she'd noticed a bruise before the shot, but they closed at 12.

Does this seem logical? If the bruise is from the shot, it would explain why my butt hurts!

(I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.)

I don't know if it's normal...but I have had to have a series of kenalog shots into my c/s incision b/c it will not close. Every time I have had major bruising with it....to the point that clothing hurt the area. So, it does happen, but I am probably not the most "typical" person when it comes to reaction to medications. I hope you feel better!
