Hi,
As I wrote in another post, I would love my co-sleeping DS to at least nap in his crib. He needs to nurse to fall asleep and wakes up everytime I try putting him in his crib. Does any of you fellow co-sleeping (or not co-sleeping) mamas have any suggestions?
Here's some more info (copied from a previous post, hope it's OK): Since we lowered the mattress in his crib (no drop-side), he always wakes up before even touching the mattress and cannot settle until I pick him up. I tried some simple things like breathing in his face so that he thinks I am there sleeping with him / keeping his back as supported as I can so that he doesn't feel a void that would wake him up / putting a nursing pillow in the crib so that he thinks that somebody's there by his side / keeping it very quiet when I put him down / since the latter failed, I also tried keeping a reasonable noise level (talking, radio, TV, etc.) - none of these worked.
I really would like to start by trying the crib solution. Any ideas (or specific techniques that worked with the ideas I mentioned above) would be greatly appreciated...
