I have a 5 week old. The breastfeeding has been rough but is getting better. His latch is way better and there are even feedings where I am really starting to enjoy breastfeeding.
But even thought the latch looks perfect to me at this point (very wide, most of areola hidden, cheeks full and no view of corners of his mouth) I'm still sore and I still have a few cracks on nipples. I use cream after but cracks don't seem to heal.
How long until I'm not sore anymore? Am I doing something wrong? I'm just so frustrated!
