Hi everyone, me and my husband have been TTC for about a year now and I just recently came across this new product called Pre-seed. Has anyone used it? if so, do you recommend it? And, some women are writing that you can get a miscarriage from it. Does anyone know if this is true? Is it worth buying the product? Just really curious about this product

Anyone used pre-seed?

I used it once. Never heard about the miscarriage, but I often wondered if something wouldn't be complicated in helping conception along when perhaps something of a hormonal nature was why conception wasn't naturally occurring.
In my case, I used it since my EWCM isn't very EWCM like. It's more snotty-esque. I blame stress a few months back for it as things seem to be getting better on their own. And, no, it didn't work for me. I have the rest of the box here and we were considering trying it again next month, but we'll see.
I just did some cursory glances at a Google search on preseed and miscarriage and found this forum post.
Some there have carried babies to term with it's use. My guess is that it depends on WHY you feel you need preseed whether or not you miscarry. For instance if you only need it because CM isn't quite right, you might be otherwise fine, but if you have other issues, it might cause conception, but problems in maintaining it could not be corrected and therefore miscarriage could result.
IMO, I'd still try it, depending on your needs and what else is going on with your system. In my case my cycles are regular (though they do seem to extend a day or 2 EACH cycle) I'm just short on the magic fluid.
Good luck to you if you try it. FWIW, hubby really liked it and how it felt, not that that's the only reason to use it, but it's not at all sticky like others have said it was.

We don't use preseed as an EWCM alternative, but just when we need a little lube during the fertile period, since many of the regular kinds are sperm unfriendly... Conceived DD with preseed, 2nd cycle - no luck so far with TTC #2 but I don't think that's the preseed's fault
Met with an RE this last T, and she said preseed is good, but another cheaper option is plain old vegetable oil... Since I personally think that sounds a little gross
, I'm probably sticking with preseed!

ive never heard anyone say preseed was r/t mc's, and certainly none of the studies have. i've used it, and i love it. dont use too much though, it gets too slippery in there. it's not a substitute for ew, of course, but if you are dry, you dont have the most welcoming environment for sperm, so adding some neutral pH sperm friendly lube wont hurt and might even help a little.
