Has anyone had a biopsy while nursing?

According to the u/s I have what looks like a Papilloma in my breast. It hasn't really changed in size but they are talking about maybe doing a biopsy. Has anyone had a biopsy while nursing?

They did say they did not like doing a biopsy while someone is nursing since it can lead to a fistula.

Ds doesn't really seem ready to wean and with him having Noonan syndrome he really needs to nurse as long as possible.

Anyone weaned only on one side?

I have only spoken with the one Dr so far and am dreading hearing from the next one

Yep, I did. DD was 4 months old. I nursed from that side immediately before the procedure and then didn't nurse her on that side for about 4 hours afterwards. Fistula is pretty rare in that case, but it does take a little longer for the wound to heal and it was very sore. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again and keep nursing though. Really unnecessary to wean.

I got a letter in the mail today saying they want to do a biopsy (I thought the other Dr was going to call but I guess not )

I wouldn't wean, the benefits to ds are really significant, at most I would wean on that side only.
