My daughter is 8 months old, and is breastfed and gets whatever solids she wants to snag off my plate.

Two weeks ago, I had another bout of mastitis, and the midwife put me on antibiotics, which I'm still taking (holy 21 days of meds, batman!). Three days ago I developed a milk blister on the same side as the mastitis. I've been doing the warm compresses before nursing, and letting her nurse as often as she wants for as long as she wants. I'm starting her on that side, and also pumping a few times a day.

Are there supplements I should be taking? Should I bite the bullet and debride the skin?

I'm at the point where I dread her nursing, as it has become quite painful.

Thanks!
