s... I'm so very sorry, I'm not Muslim, but Hindu. But that didn't keep me from being pinned up against a wall and shouted at in the aftermath of 911.

I live in Texas, and i see so much tolerance, at work, in the grocery store, or just in my neighborhood-- and then I turn on the radio, or pull up in a parking lot and see the bumper stickers... it's sickening.

I hear you on the Hijab-- a friend of mine used to describe it as wearing a 'I'm Muslim T-shirt." It's difficult in these times to have to wear your faith on your sleeve. It's silly because lot's of religions/cultures do head coverings!

Anyways, I just hope that this, too will pass. 20 years ago, being a vegetarian in this town was like saying you had 3 heads. Now almost everyone knows what paneer masala is. I think people will have to get more tolerant of Islam, it's here, and not going anywhere.
