I start back to school teaching in just about 2 weeks. My son is 14 months old, and I would say still gets about 90% of his nutrition (food) from nursing. I offer him 3 meals a day and snacks in addition to nursing, but he's just not into the solids that much. If he's too tired he'll just nurse to sleep and skip a meal entirely..doesn't affect him yet.
Aiden has always refused bottles, so last year I fed Aiden at my lunch break. This year I plan on coming home to nurse him at lunch still unless at some point he starts to show no interest in nursing when I get home.
How should I coordinate nursing times and lunch time? Aiden still takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap. My lunch will either be at 11:00 or 12:00. Aiden's a quick nurser. If he nurses for 10 minutes do you think I should get lunch out and enjoy lunch together after he nurses? or Do you think I should send him back to his babysitter's after nursing during my lunch break and ask that she feeds him in an hour or so? Any other suggestions?
