I have twin boys, almost 16 years old. They have been opposed to circumcision since they day they learned what it was, at age 8, and as they have learned more (and spent more time with their own foreskins), they are increasingly grateful that DH and I left their penises alone.
Last week we watched the movie "Robin Hood: Men in Tights", in which Mel Brooks plays a mohel. The next day, J and I were in the car for about 45 minutes, talking about this and that - and he brought up circumcision (I'm guessing the movie had made him think about it). He told me that there had been a discussion on a gaming board that he frequents about the subject, with over 200 posts! J didn't comment, but read a lot - he told me about the number of nerve endings in the foreskin, and other facts that had been posted. I was thrilled! I'm guessing the majority of the participants were young males (typical on-line gaming crowd), and I was so glad that accurate information was coming out in a mainstream forum!
Little by little, the word is getting out there, to a target audience that needs to hear it!
