college students, free amazon prime

i just found out that college students are eligible for a year of free amazon prime. which means free 2 day shipping and you don't have to sign up and then cancel.

i just signed up and read the terms, it looks good

I think someone posted this the other day. But it is a good deal, I signed up when they posted and got a $60 refund for the part of the year of prime I had already paid for

So that's why my 3 month free member ship is in month 7 It has been a great deal for me because my textbooks are cheaper even with paying shipping, even better without!

This sucks! I just ordered all of my textbooks, for this fall, through Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and there was no mention of this. Oh-well I did save a lot of money on books though, compared to my school's bookstore.
