Hmmm what could this be?

Hello everyone!

My kids (4 and 3) rarely, rarely get sick. I mean, once a year MAYBE. This morning I woke to two pretty sick little ladies.

Just vomiting...and not too often. (once every couple hours) They're drinking reguarly and are behaving normally even. (they're still full of beans!) The younger one is moping every once in a while, but still mostly her happy self.

What could be going on? I called the two places we've been to in the last four days...one was my dear friends who cooked me and the children lunch on Thursday, nope they're not ill. I called my sister in law whom we had a play date on Wednesday, not sick. My DH and I are not sick...? We always eat what they're eating...

They're not vax'd whatsoever if that makes any difference. And we're not going to the doctor unless fluids cant be kept down, ect.

Just looking for some suggestions!

Sounds like a simple gastro to me. IME kids can cope with it so much better than we can. When I get hit with a stomach bug I'm down and out miserable and moaning in my bed. But half the time when one of my kids gets it they'll be playing like normal then get quiet and tired, throw up, and then go back to playing.

Keep up the hydration and try to get them to rest if you can. I imagine this will pass very quickly. If it does linger and they show signs of dehydration you might want to make a call to your HCP, but I'm pretty sure they'll get through it without a dr's visit.
