the very first sign? cervical position?

Thread Starter
i have charted to avoid for years. and, its worked. so, i know body. however, i completely did not pay attention this month. vacation and all messed with the calender in my head. i run 26-27 day cycles with 12 day LP, give or take day or two. period started 7/6/10, which puts me ovulating around 7/18 - 7/20. am fairly sure I o'ed 7/19 (day 14)(open, high, EWCM). also, the morning after DTD w/ no protection 5x.

so, what's the very first sign? cervix remains high, soft, but closed...creamy cm.

can you tell anything from cervical position? i know most websites say no but i wanted to ask someone who's been there.

Like you said, all the literature says you can't tell anything about being pg from CP or CF. From being active on the Fertility Friend boards and chatroom for years, I can tell you what a lot of women over there say. They say that they had a lot of creamy CF during their lp and their CP was high and soft but remained closed when they got pg.

According to the FF pregnancy signs estimator, creamy CF from 7-14dpo is 9.2% less likely to occur in pregnancy. A high and soft CP is 10.6% less likely to occur in pregnancy. So, from that it would seem that neither of those signs are indicative of pg during the lp. They are actually slightly more indicative of not being pg. Of course, I don't know how scientific any of that really is since the data is taken from random charts on FF and those are notoriously inaccurate.
