So sometimes DS will sleep all night, sometimes he'll wake up once, and sometimes he will wake up about 5-6 times to eat. Last night was a 5-6 times night, lol. I checked his diaper at the first waking and it was dry, then I didn't check it for the rest of the night. I was barely awake enough myself to feed him and needed to save my limited consciousness for that, lol.

When we got up for the day, I took him to change him and his diaper was dry, despite those multiple feedings. I took it off and was going to move him to the potty but he started peeing before the diaper was off all the way. Then he stopped. So I dried him off and then took him to the potty, where he peed a ton. I set him back on the table and then stepped away to get DD out of bed (DH was right there, so DS was in no danger of falling). I was gone about 30 seconds and when I got back, DS had still peed even more, this time on the changing table. Poor little guy must have had to REALLY go!

As for the "what do I do now?" question, I left both kids with DH yesterday while I went to a baby shower. I came home to find DS in a paper diaper. I asked DH what happened, and he said to look in the bathroom. I went in there and saw that one of my diaper pins had broken. DH didn't know where the spares were, so I went and got a new pair (pink, lol). But the new pair - and all of my spares, actually - were a different brand/type/style than usual. They were not as sharp or as tapered as the ones we used. Now instead of just slipping the pins in easily, they really take a lot of work!

I ordered some more pins online. But meanwhile, I'll be sitting here with an annoying diaper situation. I half-jokingly told DH that maybe I should just put him in undies, lol. (But I lack undies, too.) Anyway, what do you guys suggest? Jump straight from our very-part-time ECing into no-more-diapers? I don't know if I'm ready for that yet, lol. We do still have a pack of paper diapers but I was hoping to save those for when we go out of town next week. Anyway just wanted to throw those thoughts out there.
