Possible toe sprain or fracture? Help me figure it out please!

yesterday was ds and bday party and around 5 or so i was chatting with an aunt and a couple of the boys ran into me and really crushed my foot/toes and it hurt pretty bad for a minute but not anything to warrant an emergency. Well the guests left about 7 and dh and i had a couple of glasses of wine afterward. and I am a lightweight so I do feel effects after a couple of glasses and this morning i had a tylenol and so i pretty much had numbing alchol and then the tylenol in my system up until now. my two small toes weren't in pain but i noticed that they are really stiff and i cant move them fully like the toes on the other side. Now that i've tried to move them they feel tingly a bit. So is this possible broken toes or sprains, should i see a dr. or what?

TIA

Hi I'm a nurse. I wouldn't see a Dr for even a for sure break in a toe, all we do is tape them for comfort. The only reason you would have cause to be more concerned is if there is an impairment in the circulation of the toe/toes. So are they the same temp as your other toes, if you press on the tip and then let go, does the blood flow back into them in 3 sec or less? Taping them might not seem that it will do much but it really will help with pain, as well as the usual, elevate, ice, Ibuprofen or naproxen will help more with the swelling than tylenol.
Only my opinion mind you, but there ya go!

Thanks so much for the information! They seem to be the same temp as the other toes, i have some medical tape so went a head and did that, i'm still not even sure if they are broken, but i am going to take it easy for a few days and see how they feel then.

I broke a toe. It hurt pretty bad for a long, long time. They can't do anything for toes so I wouldn't go in for that. But the tingling--if that is still going on circulation would be a concern of mine.
