So, we cancelled satellite about three months ago. And we don't have any local programming, so we haven't had "tv" in that time. But we do HAVE a tv. We actually have a behemoth of a tv, a 60" plasma.
But.... Someone at DH's work was talking about wanting to buy a used tv. Her point was that her budget is somewhat limited, but she wants a BIG plasma tv. So, DH comes home and presents the option to me.... Sell this co-worker the tv. And with that money, well, there's options. Save it, put it towards a vacation, etc.
And without a whole lot of thought, I said ok! The only time the tv is used now is once or twice a week when the kids watch a movie(when summer vacation is over, it would be down to about once a week). But, the kids CAN watch a movie on the computer, it just won't be quite as much of an experience! lol
So, the co-worker and her boyfriend will be here any minute to pick up the tv. And you know what I say? Good riddance!
