UTI or regression?? Help!

DD has had 4 accidents today! I am so shocked! She's always been so good. She's been using the potty for 6+ months now.

DH said she was trying to hold it and couldn't so I'm wondering if it's a UTI, but there are no other symptoms.

I tried to talk to her about it, she's not interested and/or not aware that it's a problem?????

No fever. No complaints about it hurting when she pees. I asked her if her pee was 'sick' and told if it was it could make her have accidents, burning etc.... She just la-di-dah'd while I talked. In one ear and out the other.

I tried asking why she was having accidents. More la-di-dah.

No major changes that I know of. She's in a fearful phase where things scare her (esp. loud noises). She fell in the toilet last weekend, but I haven't seen any signs that it has continued to bother her--she doesn't hide her fears.

Any thoughts? Should I call the ped tomorrow? Would you?

Sometimes kids have accidents...sometimes adults have accidents! I would worry about it and I def would not make a big deal about it to her. I would keep an eye on it and if it continues, she gets a fever or any physical symptoms go from there.

She seems okay today so I'm going to go with a developmental phase. I'm staying home, keeping her nakey and just talking to her about the potty. So far so good.

Hopefully this will pass quickly.
