he'll be 3 october 1.... i went into this aiming for 2, but not knowing how far beyond that i wanted to go... hes only been nursing twice a day for a while now- morning and before bed... hes been refusing his before bed milkies more and more lately.... he nurses well in the mornings during the week simply becase i set an alarm- we both do better nursing then laying back down for another 30 minutes to an hour (i never did figure out how to nurse laying down) instead of gettig right up- but on the weekends not so much.
im happy and sad all at once... happy we made it this far, and that its his choice, sad because hes my baby, and we had a really good nursing relationship- it was super easy, we bever had any problems... hes my first, and will be my only for a long while yet- his dad and i divorced, and i havent began dating yet, so no new baby in the future, lol....
and i will also admit im a bit happy because hes allergic to dairy, and when he weans, it means i can have some real cheese again, yay! lol
anyway,i just wanted to share with some like minded mamas- my family is pretty supportive, but everyone else thinks im crazy, lol
