I was not saying YOU are a practitioner. Â I said "You (as a practitioner)" speaking to any and all people who put themselves out there as "practitioners". Â It was a GENERAL you. Â

wow, i can't believe the direction this post went. I just logged in to check out the boards and it really is heartbreaking to see all this anger in here. I don't know if anyone wants to believe me or not, as I only 85 posts, but if you read through all my old posts, you'll see I was in a horrible, desperate situation with my son's eczema, as well. I took hereformysunshine's advice on Dr. Jing. I didn't just jump on a plane and fly down to see her, I did my research. I first checked out TCM healing center online, then I emailed the clinic and they kindly replied, and then I called them. Dr. Jing will talk to you on the phone, that was a huge sign for me that she actually wanted to work with us. Is it expensive? Not compared to the money we spent on all the supplements and topical ointments we tried, that did nothing. I can't tell you the exact amount we spent with Dr. Jing, but I believe our first appointment was $250, then subsequent appointments are $95.00. The cream costs us $10 and the bottle of herbs are $15. It's worth every penny, my son's skin was literally cleared and soft within days of seeing her the first time. You don't have to believe us, you can call us scammers, but we're not and your words are hurtful. We're moms who have been to he** and back on this eczema journey, and don't want anyone else to suffer like we did (& we don't even know each other, except from in this discussion board). I don't know if it makes me any more reliable, but here's the link to my blog & our story:Â http://allergicadventures.com/our-adventure-2/ and here's my photography blog: http://blog.breannapetersonphotography.com to show you I am a real person who experiences real problems with her older son's eczema and allergies. You have every right to choose to go to Dr. Jing or not go, just don't throw your anger around in here at us, it's not fair. Believe me, I read the pop-ups on books and everything else that would cure eczema, but they're obviously scams, I hope that possibly my blog can add a little justification to this. Finally, I have no idea what's in the herbs or cream. I can list off ingredients of the herbs, but it's in Chinese so I don't understand it. The cream, Dr. Jing's office cannot tell you because they don't know 100% everything that's in here- the only thing for certain is peppermint. I can tell you it works, actually it's amazing, and I'm pretty sure we've tried almost everything. I would, of course, encourage you to see Dr. Jing, but I get nothing out of you going to her. I live in Alaska, we've flown down to her twice, I am honestly jealous of anyone/everyone that can go to her regularly, I wish we could. So if there's any questions, I can certainly try to answer them. You can ask in here, or pm me, but just stop throwing out the word scammers, etc. I understand your anger, but it's really not cool because it's being directed towards the wrong people.Â

First using the word cure always brings up red flags. I won't tell you why this works or what it is but spend $2,000 on this and you will be cured (no refunds). Sorry, don't buy it. I read these ads all day long looking for a "cure" and I'm not dropping any more money without some sort of review and research. I also 100% will not put something I do not know what it is on something as precious as my child. It could be formaldehyde+ aluminum+lavender for all I know. i think there's a reason it is kept secret and a practitioner shouldn't be using anything on anyone especially a child if she doesn't even know what it is! I know it's all about the secret money making formula but sorry... it's not touching my baby without telling me what it is or if I even want to spend 2-5 grand on some aloe vera lotion. and yes, the person has no posts with 90% advertising this person.

and people who are defensive about it also throws red flags up b/c if they were being honest they wouldn't care if anyone questions it.
Â
1. Dr. Jing doesn't cost 2-5 grand, initial appointment is $250 I believe, then subsequent appointments $95.00
2. the cream costs $10, it's called peppermint, but I don't know the ingredients. Normally, I do check all ingredients in everything, but when we went to Dr. Jing we were at a point of desperation and was willing to try anything. The cream works wonders. It's also very common in Chinese medicine to not know all the ingredients.
3. The herbs are just herbs, nothing else, but they have their names written in Chinese so I don't know what they are specifically. I did take the bottle to a close friend, who is an Oriental Medicine doctor, and she can translate everything and knew exactly what everything was and what it was for.Â
4. Dr. Jing doesn't have a tight-lip Western medicine approach of not disclosing things. I'm sure if she knew all the ingredients in the peppermint cream, she'd share it. She's very open and helpful and it's amazing to watch her do acupuncture and massage on your child. My son is always calm and obviously feels good when he's done with her appointments.
5. If you do go to Dr. Jing or any other alternative healthcare practioner, you need to have an open mind. That's going to be the first step in having something alternative work for you. However, not every alternative health care doctor is going to have successful results. Chinese medicine does seem to be one of those with positive impact on eczema and allergies, but like it was mentioned before, that doesn't mean every Chinese medicine doctor is going to be successful in treating your child. Also, our allergist recently told us they're actually studying the correlation between Chinese medicine and decrease of childhood allergies because even Western medicine doctors are now noticing the correlation.Â
