I am due in about a week and a half and baby #2 and #3 will be about 18 months apart. any way I was wondering how the third labor goes? thanks for the input

My 3rd labor was totally unpredictable, though i don't know if it counts because it was a surrogacy. Labor number 1 was 39 hours, #2 12 hours and #3 was 2 hours and the hardest of the bunch. But if you disregard #3 due to being a surrogacy, my own 3rd child (labor #4) was my most gentle and easiest birth yet!

For me, #3 was quick and easy. We got to the hosp. so late they didn't even have time for an IV! My #2 and #3 were 19mnths apart, and they are still est friends 5 and a half years later. Congrats!

my 3rd labor was 13 hours long and by far my hardest but that was because he had both hands on top of his head. most ppl have a similar labor to thier second from what i've heard! My #2 and #3 are 14 1/2 months apart and joined at the hip. congratulations on baby number 3!!!

My labor with my 3rd was longer than my 2nd and pushing was by far the worst out of all 3 of my children......but he was over 2lbs. heavier than my girls, not to mention his head was 1 1/2" bigger too!

Mine are all 23 mos. apart and while it was super hard in the beginning, once dd2 got to be close to 2 yrs. old they go along really well and still do!....still working on getting them to like ds.

My third was like my 2nd in that the cntxs were bearable and then transition came fast and I pushed for 20 min. I labored about the same amount of time and pushed the same amount of time. The only difference really worth mentioning was my 2nd was 12 days past due, induced with castor oil and my third was 6 days early. And besides that the real big big difference was my nearly 2 weeks of strong prodromal labor/BHs before labor.

My 3rd started on sunday and ended the following sat with an induction, face up baby 7 hours after pit started(no epi) water broke at 8cm, placenta had major issues and cord wasn't pulsing like normal bay failed both aparg scores, 2 and 5, on ox for 2 hours.

I was induced with 6 of my 7 kids.

Mine was a long build up (could tell it was starting around 5pm, but not in pain), and quick and easy (the "hard part" was only maybe like 4 hrs... 6 minutes of pushing). It was my best labor, yet... but I blame that on using hypnobabies. Who knows, it could have been anyway!

My 3rd L&D was my only completely naturally occurring labor and it lasted 2.5 hours from first ctx to baby out. Didn't happen til 41w2d and baby had complications.

Subsequent babies (2 of them) have taken longer to complete.
