Hi, I am looking for a new Peds for my 9 month old DD in the Newport News/Hampton Roads area. I need one that is BF supportive and open minded to non-text book parenting. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check out Dr. Via at Williamsburg pediatric, adolescent, and sports medicine. He's been great with homebirth and delayed/selective vaccines! Very friendly to breastfeeding.

I L-O-V-E Dr. Fuste and Vanda Hoag. They are 2 of the best doctors I have been to. Very kid friendly, good staff, personable, and if needed can refer out. I like when doctors are willing to refer. You can google them. They are also supportive of a parent's choice with shots. I do vaccinate, but wanted to hold off on varivax and they were fine with that.

The walls are decorated realy fun and great to play eye spy while waiting. They are also good at seeing same day apt if needed.

Take care,
